Breakfast: Owain Wyn Evans reunites with Naga

Homes Under the Hammer is making a comeback this summer with a new face on board.

Owain Wyn Evans, known from BBC Breakfast, will align with the host team consisting of Martin Roberts, Dion Dublin, Martel Maxwell, Jacqui Joseph and Tommy Walsh for series 27.

Owain had previously hosted the programme 'Wales' Home of the Year' on BBC One, where he demonstrated his interest in property renovation and interior design.

In respect to his newly acquired role, Owain declared it as "a dream job", expressing his enthusiasm to reveal fresh property makeovers.

"What can I say, I love a transformation dahlings! I've renovated several homes over the years and have not been afraid to get my hands dirty in the process," he said.

"I love getting inspiration from others and seeing the before and after really does make this a dream job for me. I've watched Homes Under the Hammer for years and it is such an iconic show. Now pass me a sturdy boot and a hard hat, I can't wait to discover more fabulous home transformations with the team," reports Wales Online.

The forthcoming series will follow the Homes Under The Hammer crew as they traverse across the UK, visiting locations like Canterbury, Cumbria, Aberdeen and Hampshire to revitalise unwanted properties.

BBC's Muslim Alim stated: "Owain has a real passion for home transformation and a natural warmth which is the perfect combination for Homes Under The Hammer audiences. In terms of what the audience can anticipate, the professionals will delve into a one-bedroom flat in London, potentially worth £1 million if refurbished correctly.

In other segments, "Martin dons a colourful shirt to makeup for a lack of colour in a property in Bishop's Stortford, and Jacqui visits a riverside period property that is modernised to be a family home."

While "Dion tackles overgrown ivy that's invading an end terrace in North Wales and Owain will visit Llanelli, Swansea, Birmingham and London meeting landlords and developers who have invested in the properties for multiple housing purposes."
