Aluminium Arksen

Arksen, the British explorer yacht builder, has revealed new information on its upcoming Arksen 65 model. This new vessel will join the yard’s Explorer Series and follow the recently delivered Arksen 85.

The 21-metre yacht is built with aluminium that contains 70 per cent recycled content. Arksen says the boat is designed for couples, families, or small groups seeking eco-conscious, self-sustaining cruising experiences.

The Arksen 65 has a cruising range exceeding 3,700 nautical miles and the capacity for transatlantic or Pacific voyages. With its limited fixed air draft, it can explore many inland waterways around the world, including the Great Waterway Loop in the US.

The Arksen 65 features a rugged exterior from Humphreys Yacht Design, including extensive wrap-around glazing and a “raw aluminium aesthetic”.
