In the aftermath of the Kendrick Lamar beef, it's been rather quiet for Drake's collaborative NOCTA line with Nike. While he has another Air Force 1 Low rumored to release next year in "White/Colbalt Tint," we now have a first look at an "Eggplant"-colored take on the Hot Step 2. Having debuted on shelves earlier this year, the Hot Step 2 is the latest sneaker from his NOCTA project.

Our brief preview of this "Eggplant" colorway sees the sneaker don yet another monochromatic makeover. This time around, purple shimmers across the sneaker, emphasizing its upper's unique texture and mixed material composition. NOCTA co-branding arrives at the tongue and will likely be visible at the sockliner as well.

At the time of writing, neither Drake nor Nike have discussed when this "Eggplant" iteration of NOCTA's Hot Step 2 will be arriving on shelves. Stay tuned for updates, including additional visuals, as we expect it to arrive later this year via Nike SNKRS and select retailers at the $200 USD price point.
