TNA Alumna Melissa Santos Joins AEW

Melisa Santos is All Elite, announcing that she’s joined AEW. The ring announcer and backstage interviewer posted to her Instagram account to reveal that she’s signed with the company, writing:

“Did you miss me?

Thank you @aew for the opportunity and to those who helped make this happen. Grateful. Now let’s get to work.”

Santo, the wife of AEW star Brian Cage, worked as Lucha Underground’s ring announcer for that company’s run from 2014 until 2018 before working for TNA/Impact in 2019. While she did not explicitly say what her role will be, she listed both “#announcer” and “#backstageinterviews” in the hashtags of the post.
