EastEnders fans 'work out' when Sonia will have her baby - and it's not good news
Sonia Fowler has been left in shock after discovering she's pregnant with boyfriend Reiss Colwell's baby, following their IVF treatment. However, the father-to-be is still conning Sharon Watts as his financial woes continue to escalate.
In Monday's episode of EastEnders (July 22), Sonia shared her pregnancy fears with close friend Kathy Beale (Gillian Taylforth). Fans of the BBC One soap will recall that Sonia previously believed she was pregnant, only to be heartbroken when she found out she had a blighted ovum and wasn't actually expecting.
But after another round of IVF, Sonia's dreams have finally come true. Kathy urged Sonia to take a pregnancy test as they anxiously awaited the result.
Meanwhile, Reiss' financial problems worsened when Debbie's care home called demanding payment for her fees. In a desperate bid to raise the money, Reiss visited Sharon Watts (Letitia Dean) and informed her about an outstanding tax bill.

In a dramatic turn of events on EastEnders, Sonia was left reeling with shock when Reiss uncovered his pressing debts just as they were celebrating the news of her pregnancy. Amidst their moment of joy, Reiss downplayed the probability of their baby's safe arrival, casting a shadow over Sonia's happiness.

As Reiss desperately tried to resolve his financial woes, he admitted to Sonia the size of his debt to the care home and the looming threat of Debbie being moved out. In a bid to rectify matters, Reiss confronted Sharon, hitting her with a hefty demand for £13.5k to settle her tax arrears.
