Salt Lake Bees will welcome an MLB MVP to their lineup soon

When Mike Trout was coming up through the minor leagues, he only spent 20 games in Triple-A Salt Lake. He hit .403 and was promptly called up to the big leagues.

Thirteen years later, one of the best players of his generation will come back to Utah. This time, he is scheduled to make a rare minor league rehab assignment with the Salt Lake Bees.

Los Angeles Angels manager Ron Washington said Trout would start rehabbing his knee in Arizona and then move to Salt Lake before coming back to the majors, MLB.com reported this week. Trout has been out since May with a torn meniscus.
