Several injured as taxi overturns

Several people were injured when a taxi hit a road barrier and flipped over on Kwai Chung Road on Friday morning. The driver and his passenger were taken to hospital for treatment, as were two passengers on a passing KMB bus that was struck by debris. Online photos showed two windows on the lower deck of the route 290 bus were damaged. Separately in Fanling, eight people were injured when a KMB bus, a van and a private car collided. KMB said it would cooperate with police investigations into both accidents.
