Love Island viewers ask 'what was the point?' as aftermath of cliffhanger airs on ITV2
As tonight's Love Island revealed the aftermath to last night's cliffhanger, fans were left asking "What was the point?" after bombshell Lola decided who she wanted to steal.
Wednesday night's episode saw new bomshells Harry and Lola left with the difficult decision over who to steal from their partners during another tense firepit moment.
Harry quickly decided to steal Grace, and just as Lola was about to reveal who she wanted to couple up with, the episode ended, leaving viewers fuming.
However, in the opening moments of Thursday's episode, it was revealed that Lola had chosen to couple up with Reuben, despite fans thinking she would pick Joey Essex after the pair enjoyed some flirty conversations.
Fans flocked to X, formerly known as Twitter, to share their opinions as one person fumed: "What was the point in a cliffhanger though? #LoveIsland."

Yet another viewer expressed: "I'm so f*****g angry, I wanted her to pick joey just for a bit of rah rah #loveisland."
A fifth social media user penned: "I feel like she was gonna pick Joey but she saw Jessy crying and changed her mind #loveisland."

Harry and Lola burst onto the scene during Tuesday's episode as the islanders gathered for a party at a beach club.
Harry immediately made a beeline for Grace and Jess and told Grace that she was his type, as she explained her situation with Reuben to him.
Meanwhile, Lola chose to speak to Joey and Reuben, and despite Joey being coupled up with Jessy since before Casa Amor, the Essex lothario made sure to admit he wasn't "closed off".
Love Island continues tomorrow night at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX.
