BBC The Repair Shop's Will Kirk talks 'special' plan to celebrate daughter's milestone
On Tuesday’s instalment of BBC’s The One Show, hosts Alex Jones and Jermaine Jenas spoke to a string of celebrities.
One of which included The Repair Shop’s Will Kirk, who became a fan-favourite of the programme when he made his debut as the workshop’s expert furniture restorer in 2017.
Alex said: “We saw that you posted a really beautiful picture of your little girl on Instagram.”
BBC viewers got to see the snap Will had shared which featured his toddler in front of The Repair Shop workshop.
With her back facing the camera, showcasing her black curls, Will’s daughter seemed to be following in her dad’s footsteps as she wore a wooden tool belt around her waist.

After The One Show star gushed over the adorable snap, Will detailed an upcoming celebration he’s having.
He said: “She’s going to be two in a couple of weeks so I’m currently making, I’m hand carving loads of wooden animals for her birthday.”
Jermaine commented on how amazing the thoughtful gift was, as Alex replied: “They will be so special.”
Will joked: “Well I hope so! She’ll probably be like, ‘Where’s my mobile phone?!'"

As the other celebrity guests laughed at his joke the BBC star touched on how much the gift will mean.
She replied: “No, I think she will really love them.”
The Repair Shop star spoke about his daughter this week on Lorraine as he shared hopes of her following in his career.
He commented: “It runs in my blood and perhaps my daughter will do the same thing. She is nearly two.”
