Light Rail services in Yuen Long disrupted

The MTR Corporation on Thursday said it called the police over a Light Rail service disruption case in Yuen Long, saying it suspected that a truck hit and damaged overhead cables. The rail company said the incident happened at around 2pm, and the affected section was near the Shui Pin Wai Stop, which is next to Yuen Long Park. It said it had arranged free shuttle buses to get affected passengers around, as workers conducted emergency repairs. Several Light Rail routes, including 610, 614, 615, 671P and 751, had to be diverted.
