Good Morning Britain star admits to 'cheeky glow up' after returning to ITV show

Richard Arnold says he's had a 'glow up'

One of Good Morning Britain's stars appears to have recently taken a sunny break. During Wednesday's episode of the ITV programme, entertainment guru Richard Arnold returned to his role after some time off.

The GMB host announced: "He's back, Richard Arnold is back!" When the ad break was over, Richard Madeley was quick to highlight his co-star's appearance

He joked: "Nice to see you back matey. You brought the weather with you and a suit to match."

Acknowledging his return to the show, Richard responded: "And a cheeky little glow-up as well! I stuck to my motto as I always do when I'm on holiday, stay out of prison, stay out of hospital and stay out of the papers."

Giving his co-stars a playful wink, Richard Madeley found the comment amusing and burst into laughter. Ranvir Singh chuckled back at him, also saying: "Congratulations!"

At the end of last month, the ITV personality spent some time in America, sharing snippets of his adventures on Instagram.

He revealed to his followers that he had been speaking to Eddie Murphy about the new Beverly Hills Hotel film and had a chat with Simon Cowell about his career.

While Richard made his return to the daytime programme this week, presenter Susanna Reid confirmed she won't be back on screens until later this year.

Last week, she informed viewers at the end of the show: "I'm going to say goodbye because it's now time for me to go off on a break.

"You never know, I might pop up in the meantime. But otherwise, I'll see you back in September."

However, her co-star seemed less than pleased with her impending exit.

He asked: "Do you have to? Can't you stay a bit?"

With a laugh, Susanna responded: "You will be in the capable hands of the rest of the Good Morning Britain team, including our lovely green highlighter (referring to her outfit) this morning, Charlotte."

Good Morning Britain continues weekdays on ITV from 6am.
