Nigel Farage makes GB News return

Nigel Farage has confirmed he will be back on GB News once again - and his fans are thrilled.

The Member of Parliament for the Reform Party will be back on TV almost two weeks after being elected for Clacton, and he's vowed to "do his best" to appear on screen Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings.

In a post to his social media platform X, Nigel shared a video from GB News which saw him sat at his old desk with his TRIC award and issued a statement regarding his return.

He said: "Well good evening, yes I am back, back again. The last time I broadcast here I had no idea that I was going to stand in the general election and I really truly mean that."

He added: "I wasn’t going to, but I don’t know what it was something persuaded me that I ought to do something. So life I guess has changed for me a little bit.

"There’s no reason I can’t be here with you on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings and I will do my best to do so."

Farage continued: "Over the last few weeks one thing that did happen was the TRIC awards and guess what? For the second year in a row I’ve won news presenter of the year."

In the background of the clip, a video of him collecting his award appeared on screen as Nigel told viewers that he had been inundated with boos as he stepped up on stage.

He explained those booing him were the "woke mainstream media broadcasting brigade of TV and radio", adding that he doesn't mind boos.

Farage also quipped that he's expecting them to continue when he's in Westminster. He added to his viewers, who voted for him, "they weren't booing me, they were booing you! They think you're stupid, but you're not.
