These New Scotty Cameron Putters Take Inspiration From Car Culture

Car junkies are well acquainted with the term "triple black," but in case you're not, it refers to an automobile that has black exterior, black interior and a black soft top. Because no matter how much things change, black never goes out of style. And that doesn't just apply to cars or fashion, it applies to golf as well. Although silver chrome is the classic finish, something about a sleek black putter inspires confidence when you're standing over a five foot slider. It doesn't look too shabby on an Instagram feed either.

Take Scotty Cameron's newest creations for example: the B3 Triple Black Design LTD putters. The lineup brings four of Scotty's most trusted putter blade shapes to the fore including the Newport 2 (available in right-hand and left-hand), Newport 2 Long Neck, Santa Fe and Catalina. While each putter has a different configuration as far as the neck style and weighting are concerned, all four feature a stealthy black PVD treatment that's formulated to reduce glare. The dual milled face is also a point of focus, marrying the buttery soft feel of a deep-milled putter with the honest feedback of a mid-milled.

The accessories that accompany each putter ensure you'll feel like your $750 USD purchase was worthwhile. The headcovers are custom designed and treated to premium embroidery while a B3 Triple Black Design LTD band wraps the stepless steel shafts. The putters will be available come July 26 at select Titleist shops worldwide.
