Loose Women's Charlene White rushes to help Call the Midwife star after on-air stumble
Victoria Yeates, known for her role as Sister Winifred in Call the Midwife, had a minor mishap on live television when she tripped on stage during an appearance on ITV's popular daytime show. The actress was on the programme alongside Coleen Nolan, Charlene White, and Kelle Bryan to discuss her latest project, Wormhole Play, which aims to raise awareness about domestic abuse.
As she made her way across the studio, she stumbled, prompting Coleen to quip: "We need to get rid of that step."
Earlier in the show, Charlene had introduced a new campaign aimed at supporting victims of domestic abuse, called Face It Together.
She then introduced Victoria, saying: "Call the Midwife actress Victoria Yeates joins us to talk about her latest role, which shines a spotlight on domestic abuse as well as the very personal reason she wants to raise awareness. Please welcome Victoria."
Despite the stumble, which was met with concern from the panellists, Victoria seemed unphased as she smiled at the audience. Charlene reassured her, saying: "Oh goodness me, and breathe," reports Wales Online.

"The show goes through her trying to piece together her memory and remember the reason why she is there and what has happened to her."
She elaborated on the plot, saying: "She has been in an abusive relationship so it goes through different moments and red flags that have happened over the years to help her remember what happened."

Opening up about her personal connection to the subject, Victoria shared: "I was in a controlling relationship and I think that going through his play you start to have flashbacks to moments where you think 'I didn't even realise that was happening'."
Highlighting the importance of the play, she stated: "I think why we wanted to do the play is so people can have these sorts of conversations because when we do these workshops what happens is when you hear that someone else was going through the same thing it removes all the shame and guilt that you feel."
Loose Women airs weekdays at 12.30pm on ITV.
