GMB's Kate Garraway cuts off co-star as she fumes 'stop talking' live on air

Kate Garraway swiftly interrupted her Good Morning Britain co-star Adil Ray mid-speech saying he should 'stop talking'. The popular presenter made her return to the ITV breakfast show where she teamed up with Adil.

At the start of Thursday's programme both presenters announced that the episode is exempt from political discussions as polling stations open doors for the General Election. Adil took it upon himself to elaborate the constraints of broadcasting rules preventing them from addressing the "policies and politics" extensively on election day.

All geared up to assist their viewers on how to vote under the new voter ID regulations, Adil addressed the audience being put off by the lack of election talk, attributing the cause to Ofcom broadcasting guidelines. Further expanding that, although they cant touch base on politics, they can keep you informed on the election process and explained the essentials people need to take with them to vote.

There was a swift intervention by Kate who mentioned: "Any questions really. We are going to bring our experts in later on to answer those questions after 8am. We also have an expert on the weather."

With a cue directed to GMBs resident weatherman Alex Beresford, Adil light-heartedly retorted: "Well I don't know about that."

Prompting Alex to proclaim: "What is important is your polling outfit." This left Adil and Kate puzzled, and simultaneously exclaimed: "What?"

"What are you going to wear? " Alex pressed on. Kate responded with intrigue, "That is interesting."

Adil chimed in, "It's not a red carpet." Before quizzing Alex, "Ok you're going to vote what would you wear?"

Alex shared her thoughts, "What would I wear? I want to wear something that makes me feel good."

Adil probed further, "Ok like what?" However, before Adil could get an answer, Kate interjected, "Adil we are going to address this with our expert if you don't keep talking because otherwise we won't have time for the experts."

She gestured to her earpiece and informed him, "That's what I've literally just been told by the producer." Adil, taken aback, replied, "Fine.. fine."

Kate then redirected the conversation to Alex, concluding with, "Right the weather."
