RICHERT BEIL Takes Goths to the Beach for SS25

RICHERT BEIL is all about highlighting different communities and subcultures, making goths their focal point for Spring/Summer 2025. The label, run by Jale Richert and Michele Beil, inserted Berlin's signature darkness into day two of Berlin Fashion Week, building an imaginary beach where goths can relax.

For SS25, RICHERT BEIL brings everyone together for a fun day outdoors, enlisting local punks and muscular gym-goers to walk the runway. The brand shut down Marlene Dietrich Platz, lining the vacant venue with white plastic chairs from your local home goods store. Blasting heavy metal music shouted from a transportable speaker that clung to a model's neck, casually walking through the audience rows without a care in the world.

Scavenging for appropriate summer clothes, SS25 sees RICHERT BEIL craft an ideal wardrobe for black-loving fashionistas. Gothic signatures, such as latex shorts, inflated tops, and daring graphic tees, stole the show with an undoubtable edge. Washed denim sets and strong-shouldered blazers were drenched with rebellion, while checkered ensembles followed sweaty plastic hoodies and bulging speedos with branded metal plaques. Child-like floaties protect you from hard-hitting waves, while pre-soaked mesh tops and spiked flip-flops are destined for saltwater enjoyment.
