Lexus and Snow Peak to Exhibit Together at the Tokyo Outdoor Show 2024

Lexus and Snow Peak are exhibiting together at the Tokyo Outdoor Show 2024, held at Makuhari Messe in the Chiba Prefecture. One of the main spotlights of the exhibit is the GX550 OVERTRAIL+, fully equipped with a Snow Peak field trailer. The event hosted a string of Lexus vehicles featuring Snow Peak camping gear, giving customers a first-hand experience as to how the brands and their products coexist with one another. As a part of the "OVERTRAIL PROJECT," the experience is said to dive into the "coexistence of people, nature and mobility."

The project is meant to be an initiative that centers around mobility, gear and experiences. With the aim to realize a carbon-neutral society, the project highlights the outdoor adventure lifestyle. Lexus coins the "OVERTRAIL" term as a way to refer to the land routes and unpaved roads in the wilderness. From casual outdoor activities to off-road ones in the mountains or snowy trails, Lexus and Snow Peak have the products to add to the chosen lifestyle.

Specifically highlighting the GX550, the popular model was available by lottery for only 100 units. Each of the models feature a Snow Peak field trailer, which is currently accepting orders for about $26,000 USD. The large cargo trailer features a tent and can be towed with a regular license.
