Sunday Brunch: Yvette Fielding jokes with Tim Lovejoy

It looked as though Yvette Fielding got a bit carried away during the most recent instalment of Sunday Brunch on Channel 4 today.

During the episode, presenters Tim Lovejoy and Simon Rimmer sat down with the 55-year-old to discuss her latest book. However, just before their discussion, the show featured a segment where the guests got to try certain wines.

As Tim asked Yvette whether or not she enjoyed the alcoholic drinks, she made a confession. She replied: “Do you know, they were fantastic. I’m a bit tiddly!”

Yvette told the duo it’s because she doesn’t drink that much, and she was all smiles as she admitted to enjoying the afternoon tipple.

Having a cheeky jibe, Tim hit back: “We understand you prefer spirits?” As a series of groans could be heard from people off-camera over the joke, Most Haunted's Yvette was less than impressed.

She exclaimed: “That was so bad! Is it going to get worse than this?”

However, it looked as though Tim wasn’t finished there with the paranormal jokes.

Holding her book up, he asked whether it had been written by a ghostwriter.

Although Yvette laughed at the puns, Simon joined in with the fun telling viewers they should end the chat there as it had peaked.

Pretending to be annoyed, Yvette got up from the sofa and said: “I’ve had enough, I’m going.”

However, she quickly came back as the conversation got back on track.

During their interview, the 55-year-old touched on some people being sceptical about the paranormal world.

Directing her point to Tim, she said: “The last time I came on the show you said I don’t believe in it. I said, ‘Well come and see for yourself’. Which you haven’t done yet.”

Shaking his head, the Channel 4 star insisted he hadn’t actually been invited by Yvette to tag along.

She replied: “Oh yes you did! Yes you did, you’re just a big p***y.”

Tim and Simon burst into laughter at Yvette’s rather rude response as cheers could be heard from the other guest panellists.

Holding his head in shame, he replied: “Pussycat? Yeah.”

Sunday Brunch continues Sundays on Channel 4 from 9:30am.
