Police hunt man suspected of trying to kill family

Police on Wednesday said they are searching for a man suspected of trying to kill his wife and three daughters by burning charcoal at a flat in Tuen Mun. Officers received a report from the man's wife at about 6am saying that she and the girls were feeling dizzy due to smoke in a flat in Shan King Estate. The woman and her three daughters, aged between 13 and 16, were taken to hospital. Police said they suspect the woman's husband left the flat after setting the charcoal alight and officers are now trying to track him down.
