Aston Martin Unveils the Valiant: A 734 HP Twin Turbo V12

Aston Martin has unveiled the Valiant, an ultra-exclusive, track-focused, road-legal special edition car developed by its bespoke service, Q by Aston Martin. Inspired by a personal commission from Aston Martin Aramco F1 Team driver Fernando Alonso, the Valiant is set to continue the brand’s tradition of producing highly collectible special edition models.

The Valiant is powered by a 734 hp 5.2L Twin-Turbo V12 engine paired with a bespoke 6-speed manual transmission. Its chassis features Multimatic ASV dampers and recalibrated electronics to enhance track capabilities. The car's all-carbon fiber bodywork is designed for maximum aerodynamic efficiency, reducing weight and increasing downforce. The lightweight interior is minimalist, prioritizing driver focus and connection.

Drawing inspiration from the legendary "Muncher" Le Mans racer, the Valiant utilizes cutting-edge materials like magnesium, titanium and advanced 3D printing for key components. This results in significant weight savings and improved performance. The Valiant will make its public debut at the 2024 Goodwood Festival of Speed, where Fernando Alonso is set to showcase its capabilities.

At the time of writing, pricing for the Valiant has not yet been shared, however, Aston Martin did state that production will be limited to just 38 units globally and that deliveries will begin starting Q4 of 2024.
