Southampton are set to push for a move for former striker Danny Ings this summer.

The Saints are straight back to the Premier League after relegation a year ago.

They are now set to play in the top flight in the 2024/2025 season, which leads to their interest in Ings.

Per talkSPORT, they are likely to put in an offer for the West Ham United forward.

Ings is out of favor at the Hammers, who are likely to go on a summer spending spree.

The forward is unlikely to feature in the plans of incoming head coach Julen Lopetegui.
