Liverpool could look to bolster their transfer funds this summer by allowing Darwin Nunez to leave the club. The forward has been heavily linked with a move away from Anfield this summer, and he fuelled speculation further by deleting club-related posts from social media and jetting off to Paris earlier this week. According to Transfermarkt, Nunez is valued at £65million, and Liverpool could be tempted to accept an offer in that region to kickstart their transfer window. With Joel Matip departing, reuniting Arne Slot with Feyenoord skipper Geertruida could be an option that is explored by the Reds. The Dutchman can play anywhere across the backline and could pave the way for Joe Gomez to depart, with reports speculating that the England international is prepared to take the next step in his career. A fee in the region of £25m would test the resolve of Feyenoord given that he is approaching the final 12 months of his current deal.

Leeds star Summerville is admired by Liverpool and Slot, and thus it would be no surprise if the tricky winger is the subject of interest this summer. If he is unable to guide the Whites back to the Premier League then bids around the £30m mark would certainly be hard to ignore for the Elland Road outfit. The Reds won’t be the only side interested in Summerville though after another sensational season.
