No. 3 alarm fire in Yeun Long leaves man badly burned

A number three alarm fire broke out at a plastic recycling facility on Yung Yuen Road near Wing Ning Estate in Yuen Long on Friday morning shortly before 1 am. The fire department deployed three jets and mobilised three breathing apparatus teams to fight the blaze. The police said that a 61-year-old man suffered severe burns during the fire and was sent to Tuen Mun Hospital for treatment. The police also pointed out that the scene was far away from residential areas and no evacuation was required.
