Drake denies paedophile allegations in new Kendrick Lamar diss track

Drake has denied the allegation that he is a paedophile in response to the claim levelled against him in Kendrick Lamar’s recent diss tracks.

The rap feud between the two artists escalated last night (May 5) when Drake dropped his new diss track ‘The Heart Part 6’, on which the Canadian rapper suggests that Lamar’s disses are based on false information fed to him by Drake’s team.

The rappers have made a series of allegations against one another through the lyrics in their recent tracks, including that Lamar domestically abused his parter on ‘Family Matters’, and that Drake is hiding an 11-year-old daughter on ‘Meet The Grahams’.

In recent track ‘Meet the Grahams’, Lamar also alleged that Drake is a sexual predator. “A child should never be compromised and / he keepin’ his child around them / And we gotta raise our daughters knowin’ there’s predators like him lurkin’,” he raps on the track.

Elsewhere on the song, released May 3, he accused Drake of keeping “sex offenders” on a “monthly allowance” at his label and called him a “pervert“.

‘Meet the Grahams’ also includes the lyric that “The Embassy ’bout to get raided too, it’s only a matter of time,” in a reference to Drake’s house – his Toronto home he’s dubbed ‘The Embassy’.

In Lamar’s follow-up track ‘Not Like Us’ (released May 4), he doubled down on the allegations, rapping: “Say, Drake, I hear you like ’em young.”

He also explicitly alleged Drake and his team were paedophiles with a reference to Drake’s 2021 album: “Certified Lover Boy? Certified pedophiles.”

The verse is rounded up with the line: “Tryna strike a chord and it’s probably A-Minor.”

Drake has now addressed the numerous allegations made against him through the release of ‘The Heart Part 6’, a title which references Lamar’s various ‘The Heart’ songs.

The Canadian rapper’s new track opens with a sample of Aretha Franklin‘s ‘Prove It’, before he raps: “Speakin’ of anything with a child, let’s get to that now / This Epstein angle was the shit I expected TikTok videos you collected and dissected / Instead of being on some diss-direct shit / You rather fucking grab your pen and misdirect shit.”

Drake then goes on to allege that Lamar was “molested” in what appears to be a reference his deeply personal 2022 song ‘Mother I Sober’ – on which he opens up about the generational trauma of sexual assault. “This is trauma from your own confessions / This when your father leave you home alone with no protection, so neglected / That’s why these pedophile raps is shit you so obsessed with, it’s so excessive,” Drake raps on his new track.

He further addresses the allegations with the lyrics: “I never been with no one underage but now I understand why this the angle that you really mess with / Just for clarity, I feel disgusted, I’m too respected / If I was fucking young girls, I promise I’d have been arrested / I’m way too famous for this shit you just suggested.”

Drake’s outro sees him declare that his opponent would be a “worthy competitor if I was really a predator and you weren’t fuckin’ lying to every blogger and editor“.

The new track is the latest development in the feud between the pair, which stems from Lamar’s verse on Future and Metro Boomin’s ‘Like That’ back in March. In the verse, he responded to J. Cole, who claimed “Love when they argue the hardest MC / Is it K-Dot? Is it Aubrey? Or me? / We the big three like we started a league” on his guest spot on Drake’s track ‘First Person Shooter’.
