The Chase: Bradley Walsh asks player about hobby

As another episode of The Chase aired on Thursday, ITV viewers admitted they "muted" the show after growing tired of host Bradley Walsh's jokes and "chit chit" with the players in between rounds.

The 63-year-old appeared to be in a playful mood during the course of the episode as he larked around with the four contestants and chaser Shaun Wallace, also known as The Dark Destroyer.

However, viewers weren't best pleased with his antics as they flocked to X, formerly known as Twitter, to share their grievances with one another.

One frustrated viewer wrote on social media: "#thechase Bradley's jokes even worse than usual. Which I didn't realise was possible."

Another person agreed as they fumed: "#thechase Got to the point where I'm mainly watching this on mute & with subtitles." (sic)

Somebody else bemoaned: "Gawd more chit chat #TheChase." (sic)

Yet another ITV viewer penned: "Bradley - Shut up! #TheChase."

A fifth unamused person said: "Shut up Brad #TheChase," and a sixth added: "Brad's lost it again #thechase."

A seventh wrote: "Ok Brad, move along #TheChase."

Following disastrous cash builder rounds, Michelle from Durham and Rachael from Manchester were sent home.

This left Nathan from Bridgend and Tony from Hull through to the final round to take on Shaun in a nail-biting finale.

However, the pair were unlucky as they lost out on their £6,000 and left the show empty handed.

The Chase airs weekdays at 5pm on ITV1 and ITVX.
