Girona coach Michel: Now we want Champions League qualification

Girona coach Michel says Champions League qualification is now the goal.

Girona secured European qualification last week and are now going for a top four finish.

Ahead of facing Las Palmas, Michel said: "Our goal is the Champions League.

"We have qualified for Europe, it has been historic but now we will fight for a dream. The rest is of no interest, we will not get lost in anything else."

He added, "Las Palmas are a great team. They will take away the ball and possession from us because they have done it against all the teams. We will need to be good in defense, be aggressive in pressing and be able to do damage in the transition.

"If we win the ball better, but we will have to be prepared to play without it."
