Since March, Ben Shephard and Cat Deeley have fronted This Morning but fans have speculated a feud could brew behind the scenes. The presenters have filled the shoes of Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield who both made shocking exits from the daytime programme.

In December last year, former Good Morning Britain presenter Ben, 49, and the ex-SMTV Live host Cat, 47, were revealed as the new faces of the ITV staple. However, since taking over the reins the pair have received mixed reviews.

Some fans believe that the pair are clashing off-screen after analysing their body language in a video uploaded to the show’s official Instagram.

One user wrote: "Ben wasn't happy with Cat talking over him constantly. His face said it all." Another added: "She always talks over people on the show."

This came after Cat gave up her gig hosting So You Think You Can Dance? in the US. She had been living with her husband and two young boys in America for several years before she decided to move back to the UK.

The telly star had presented the US show since 2006, before joining the This Morning team.

The new video comes after fans were unimpressed with a preview clip of an upcoming episode which was shared on social media.

One wrote: "Cat, what did they do to this show that we all loved? They ruined it. The new format is terrible. What a disappointment."

A second chimed in: "Can we get the original format back?"

It was reported that since Ben and Cat's arrival, the programme's ratings have plummeted to just 692,500 last month. That is the fewest since Holly Willoughby's last day on the show back on October 10.

When Cat and Ben first began on the show on March 11, viewer numbers peaked at just over 1.03 million.
