BBC Breakfast 'turn off' as show 'hits new low' with bizarre interview

9-year-old Cooper shows off his incredible seagull impression

Fans of BBC Breakfast were fuming over the morning show 'hitting a new low' this morning.

On Wednesday, the Dan Kay and Sally Nugent were joined on the sofa by nine-year-old Cooper, who was there to perform his seagull impression, complete with a full costume.

The segment began with the school boy screeching a seagull noise at the top of his lungs, fully kitted out in a matching costume - Fully immersing himself into the role.

Sally asked him how he discovered he could do his unusual talent as he explained it all started with an attack.

Cooper said: "I got bit by one in Devon on Woolacombe beach and it swooped over my head and stole my ham sandwich, hitting my knuckle by accident.

One user said: "#BBCBreakfast pouring cold water on the Government’s commitment to defence spending, to ensure the security of our nation whilst giving a young lad airtime to demonstrate his seagull impression. You’ve reached a new low!"
