Chelsea hero Cole scoffs at Arsenal celebrations

Former Chelsea and West Ham star Joe Cole criticized Arsenal supporters' celebrations this week.

The Gunners were runaway winners in the Premier League against the Blues on Tuesday night.

As they romped to a 5-0 success that could have been even more, the fans were having a right old party in the Emirates Stadium.

“I was in the back of the cab ready to go home but they told me I had to come back to work" joked Cole post-game on TNT Sports.

“No interest in [hanging around to hear Arteta]."

His colleague and ex-Arsenal star Martin Keown then added: “A bit like Chelsea's team he went missing!"

Cole stated: “Wow! All I will say is, I heard fireworks from the Arsenal fans. I think that's a bit early with five [sic] games to go. Celebrations were a bit too much."
