ITV Emmerdale 'exit' as villager arrested after being framed by Leyla Harding
Emmerdale fans seem to think an exit could be on the cards after Victoria Sugden (played by Isobel Hodgins) got arrested. Victoria could end up losing everything after she broke up with Jacob Gallagher (Joe-Warren Plant) and then got sacked from her job. However, little does she know it was Eric Pollard (Chris Chittell) who blackmailed Jai Sharma (Chris Bisson) into firing Victoria.
To make matters worse, during Tuesday night's instalment, Victoria ended up getting drunk with Wendy (Susan Cookson) and punched Jacob's mother Leyla (Roxi Shahidi) after they got into a heated row. Although, Leyla wasn't going to let it go and reported Victoria to the police - and soon after she was arrested.
"What's the joke I could do with a laugh? Anything to do with Jacob I suppose," Leyla fired at Victoria. "It's not enough, is it that you ruined Berlin, now you're going after the rest of his future."
"What?" Victoria quizzed as Leyla went on: "OK, play the fool if you like but just stay away from my son. You know you're not good enough for him."
"You're insane," Victoria replied as Leyla threatened: "You'll see how insane I am if you don't stop encouraging him to defer his studies."

Emmerdale: Victoria was arrested at the end of Tuesday's episode (Image: ITV)As Victoria protested her innocence, Leyla didn't stop as she goaded: "You didn't have to, did you? You just dangled the possibility of you and him getting back together and that was enough to distract him.
"You are disgusting, you went after his dad and that didn't work so you just moved on to him. I have been right about you from the start."
However, Leyla clearly hit a nerve as Victoria slapped her across the face - and before she knew it, she was being arrested.
Elsewhere, a romance could be on the cards for Sarah Sugden (Katie Hill) after a newcomer arrived in the village. The new arrival introduced himself to Sarah after she began working at Cain Dingle's (Jeff Hordley) garage.

Following the episode, fans took to X to share their thoughts and theories about what will happen next. Many seem to think an exit will be on the cards after Victoria was arrested, while others don't trust Gus Malcolms (Alan McKenna) after he paid a visit to Rhona (Zoe Henry).
"Jacob should go see David and try to make up, make it a long visit #Emmerdale," one fan suggested.
Another said: "Leyla. Victoria should tell Jacob about Leyla reporting her. Always one way of getting own back."
"Leyla grassing on Vic... Really? She deserved that slap! #emmerdale," a third pleaded while a fourth stated: "#emmerdale lock her up & throw away the key."
Someone else said: "Looking forward to Jacob finding out Leyla stitched him up over Victoria."
Sharing their thoughts on Gus, one fan theorised: "Guz not going to do a runner is he #Emmerdale."
"#Emmerdale actually no, he's going to do a runner," another predicted while one added: "I really really don't trust Gus, he's gonna take Ivy and run... I just know it #Emmerdale."
