Ben Shephard in tears on Tipping Point over 'biggest jackpot' in history of show
Ben Shephard was left in tears on ITV's Tipping Point after a contestant scooped up the show's biggest-ever jackpot.
Player Clive bagged a staggering £20,000, the highest prize in the programme's history. An emotional Ben jumped around before embracing Clive in a hug. "Clive you've done it! " he exclaimed.
"I can't believe you have done it!" said the presenter, brimming with excitement. An overwhelmed Clive replied: "I am knocked over! Thank you so much!"
Ben, who has since landed a hosting role on This Morning, added: "Clive, I have stood in front of this machine over a thousand times, the only time that has happened was when it was on a tray that didn't get taken!".

Ben Shephard gave Clive a huge hug to congratulate him on his epic win (Image: ITV)"You have won £20,000 Clive!". As they shared a celebratory hug, Clive confessed: "I am welling up!", reports Daily Star.
"How does that feel Clive?" asked the host. To which, an emotional Clive responded: "Fantastic!".
Fans took to Twitter to share their reactions, with one writing: "I'd seen the clip where Clive wins the double jackpot so it was nice to see the whole episode It's probably one of my favourite game show moments of the year."
Crowd favourite, Clive was showered with praise on social media. One viewer jubilantly said, "Well done Clive #tippingpoint" A second person expressed delight over his win and reciprocated with positive vibes saying, "Aw nice one Clive on #tippingpoint. Delighted for him, what a guy! ".
