ITV Coronation Street fans 'figure' out Toyah Habeeb's secret as she is arrested
Coronation Street's Toyah Habeeb (played by Georgia Taylor) found herself on the wrong side of the law in Monday night's (April 22) episode after she attacked the car of sleuths searching for missing Lauren Bolton's (Cait Fitton) body. However, viewers were convinced there was more to it than just her friendship with Roy Cropper (David Neilson) who is currently awaiting trial for the teens' murder.
The scenes came about as she helped search for Roy's beloved dog Freddie who had been kidnapped by trolls hoping to get a confession out of the mild-mannered cafe owner. As Toyah aided in the search for the pooch she came across three so-called sleuths digging up a rose bed who believed Lauren's body was there after they saw Freddie digging in the same place.
A furious Toyah picked up a shovel and smashed their car window as they caught it all on camera. She was visibly upset by the time Nick Tilsley (Ben Price) arrived and persuaded her to put down the shovel and she burst into tears.
She blamed her upset on them targeting Roy and stood by this when policeman Craig Tinker (Colson Smith) took her in for questioning. Although she was let off with a conditional caution it appeared that she wasn't being completely honest and both Nick and her sister Leanne Battersby (Jane Danson agreed this was out of character for her.
This was later compounded when she purchased a single yellow rose and brought it to the site of the digging laying it on the ground. Viewers were convinced they knew what was going on and took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to share their thoughts.

"Toyah? What? #Corrie," another asked as a third commented: "Is this now the start of Toyah & her baby,&still Lauren is nowhere to be found, so much gloom & doom, sad storyline with Toyah #corrie #Toyah #gloom." (sic)
Someone else asked: "Am I correct in thinking that Toyah Lost a baby and it’s buried in the woods, which is why she kicked off? (I don’t know why I think I could be completely wrong) #Corrie."
"“I’m so sorry” Wait don’t tell me Toyah has killed Lauren. #Corrie," a fifth questioned.
While another theorised: "Pure coincidence that someone happens to dig up exactly where Toyah buried her baby… and Toyah just happens to be there at that very time…."
