BBC Death in Paradise icon tipped for Beyond Paradise swap as fans spot clue
Beyond Paradise fans hope a character from Humphrey Goodman's (played by Kris Marshall) past will make an appearance in upcoming scenes. As the DI and Martha Lloyd (Sally Bretton), prepared for their wedding, they were treated to a combined stag and hen party by their friends and colleagues to celebrate their upcoming marriage.
The event was orchestrated by their friends, who aimed to bring a taste of Saint Marie to them, reflecting on where the couple rekindled their romance. Despite it being a long time since they last visited Saint Marie, Friday evening brought a piece of the island to them as they toasted to their future.
Viewers were overjoyed when they spotted a tribute to Harry the Lizard, the beloved reptilian fixture of Death in Paradise, however, some feared it was a hint that Humphrey would be returning to work in Saint Marie.

Following the scene, fans took to X to share their thoughts and theories, and while some think it could mean Humphrey is making an exit, others are hoping some of Humphrey's friends from Saint Marie will show up for the wedding -including the icon that is Catherine Bordey (Elizabeth Bourgine).
One fan said: "Catherine @lizbourgine needs to come and sort out that wedding catering for Humphrey...... #beyondparadise #deathinparadise." While another asked: "Whos gonna come to the wedding from Saint Marie." (sic)

Sharing their thoughts about Harry's return, one fan remarked: "At least #beyondparadise make sure @DIPHarryLizard gets a look in."
Lorraine Kelly also took note of the reference, tweeting: "Could Humphrey be moving back Beyond Paradise to Death In Paradise? Was Harry a little nod to this?"
