Agent unsurprised by Man City, Chelsea rumours for Pinyaev

Agent Paulo Barbosa is unsurprised by Premier League interest in Lokomotiv Moscow attacker Sergei Pinyaev.

Local sources state Chelsea, Manchester City, Liverpool and Newcastle are following the 19 year-old.

Barbosa told Metaratings: "Most likely, there is definitely interest in Pinyaev, since Sergei is a very good player. But I don't think they will make any offer.

"Just because clubs are following him doesn't mean they want to buy him. Any talented player can play in any country.

"Of course, an internship at Manchester United can have an impact, but now they look at how the player plays for the club and the Russian national team. As for sanctions, if there is an interesting player and a very strong desire, then anything can happen."
