ITV Loose Women panellists strip off live on air as they ditch bras for important message
Christine Lampard announced during Wednesday’s instalment of Loose Women that the ladies would be stripping off and going braless. The 45-year-old ITV star told viewers for the “rest of the show” they would be whipping them off.
This came after medical experts have said bras are a basic necessity and should not be subject to VAT. Radiographers claim that Tax disproportionately affects women and could be considered discriminatory under the Equality Act.
Delegates at the Society of Radiographers are backing a movement to remove it. During the show the likes of Brenda Edwards, Coleen Nolan and Judi Love acknowledged the reason behind it and decided to give their support.
Christine said: “It’s a necessity Brenda, we need to hold these up," before bursting into fits of laughter along with her co-stars.

Coleen Nolan decided to take off her bra during Loose Women (Image: ITV)Empathising with the group of Radiographers she added: “The tax should be removed for the uncomfortableness.”
Despite this, she felt that there were “other products” like underwear and sanitary towels that were more pressing to remove VAT – which all the women agreed on.
Coleen, 59, was then heard joking and said: “I’m surprised mine is only 20 per cent they use a lot of material for mine.”

Comedian Judi, 43, chimed in and stated there hers should be “tax-free, cos mine are like a tax they are heavy.”
All of the women burst into fits of laughter over the hilarious comments.
Coleen shared that all of them backed the movement and discussed it behind the scenes. She said: “We have decided to do the rest of the show without bras off.”

Taking to X, formerly known as Twitter, fans threatened to switch off after it being “boring”. One user wrote: “What is this crap. So boring.”
“What is this sh*t?! It’s not ‘This is Your Life’ ffs! Have they run out of guests,” added a second. While a third said: “Turned off cannot bear these stupid women.”
