Ederson picks his nose and spits as TNT Sports ban camera from showing City keeper
Manchester City goalkeeper Ederson was caught spitting and picking his nose on the bench during his side's 4-2 win away to Crystal Palace - and the TNT Sports commentary joked he would be banned from their coverage as a result. The Brazilian, who did not start after picking up an injury against Liverpool last month, watched on as Stefan Ortega deputised ably in his absence.

The TNT Sports cameras then panned to Ederson on the bench, but he was in an uncompromised position at the time. Commentator Darren Fletcher explained that they would not be returning to the stopper for the remainder of the game.
"He has picked his nose and spat so we're not going to show him again," Fletcher said regarding Ederson, which prompted a chuckle from co-commentator Lucy Ward.

The striker rushed to Ortega but a classy touch from the German goalkeeper, which resembled a Cruyff turn, eased the pressure before he was able to clear the ball.

Ortega was the goalkeeper caught out early, however, as Mateta gave the hosts a surprise lead inside three minutes. He bore down on goal and finished past the City number two with an effort that hit the post before going in.
Kevin De Bruyne equalised shortly after with a stunning curling effort into the top corner, before Rico Lewis gave Pep Guardiola's outfit the lead just after half-time.
Erling Haaland doubled the visitors' lead from close range before De Bruyne struck from range once again to put the cherry on the cake, though Odsonne Edouard did claim a late consolation for Palace.
