Arsenal's Gabriel Jesus sends reminder to Liverpool after Gunners dropped to second
Arsenal star Gabriel Jesus has piled the pressure on Liverpool by reminding the Gunners’ title rivals that they are only two points clear and have a poorer goal difference. Jurgen Klopp’s side took advantage of a goalless draw between Arsenal and Manchester City to climb to the Premier League summit.

But while Liverpool may lead the Premier League now, Arsenal striker Jesus has warned that the situation could quickly change. The two-time champion with City reminded the Reds of the small margin in points and pointed out that Arsenal’s goal difference of 46 is better than Liverpool’s 40.
The 26-year-old said: "It's the Premier League. It's a tough league and anything can happen. It is only two points, the difference [with Liverpool] but we have a very good goal difference.

He continued: "To play big games, you have to sometimes change your body language.
"To go there and play against them is not easy. We tried to win, and I think we could have won it. Maybe we played a different game to what we normally do, but sometimes football is like this. Each game is different.
"We had some chances. We could have scored and maybe won the game, but that's football. We take the point. We went there last season and we suffered a lot. We conceded goals and then we made some mistakes.

Attacker Jesus was forced to do plenty of defending against his former side but insists he is happy to help out where needed. The Brazilian added: "The way I am, I try everything I can to help my team. It doesn't matter where I play, I always try to do my best. And here, I did it.
"I was very deep. Normally I am not that deep, but I had to play as the winger, and I think I helped my team playing like this. But the most important thing, I think, is sometimes if you cannot win, you do not lose."
