Morgan Rogers happy being part of derby win for Aston Villa

Aston Villa youngster Morgan Rogers believes he'll keep improving with more game time.

The 21-year-old arrived from Middlesbrough in January for a modest fee, which could rise due to bonuses.

Rogers has been involved more than expected due to Jacob Ramsey being injured.

After a 2-0 win over Wolves on Saturday, he stated: "I loved it, derby day, nothing better.

"Me being from Birmingham as well, there's a bit more on it. I'm buzzing. But we won, we played well for large parts and deserved the win, so I'm really happy.

"I'm just trying to make an impact. The team were playing really well before I came and I'm trying to add to that and be in the rhythm of it. I feel like I'm finding my feet and I'm getting better every time I step on the pitch. I just want to keep improving and I know I've got more levels to go I'm looking forward to it.

"I'm happy to play anywhere. I feel like I've got the capabilities to play in different positions anywhere across the frontline. I have the understanding to play in different positions. I've picked that up since I was young. I've played everywhere. Anywhere the manager wants me to play, I'm happy."
