130m+ in-build superyacht damages Lürssen dry dock in Bremen

Online news websites have reported that a +130-metre in-build Lürssen superyacht, believed to be Alibaba, has fallen through the shed doors of the Lürssen Shipyard facility in Bremen. Images from Nord-West Media TV show the accident occurred on Thursday 7 December, with the yacht hitting the doors from the inside on the 170-metre dry dock.

Two new Sunreef 100 Eco catamaran yachts commissioned

Sunreef Yachts has announced the commission of two 29.26-metre new-build Sunreef 100 Eco catamaran yachts. The Sunreef 100 Eco yacht has been designed to provide an emissions-free cruising experience in complete silence and luxury. Both Sunreef 100 Eco yachts were ordered by repeat customers, and will be penned in-fullt by the Poland-based builder.

Kurt Strand Design and Acoya Design House unveil 77 metre super yacht concept Silence

Norwegian and Swedish designers Kurt Strand Design and Acoya Design House have collaborated to unveil renders of their 77-metre superyacht concept Silence. Embodying Scandinavian minimalism, the superyacht concept features strong sweeping lines, organic shapes and nature-inspired design elements. Silence’s exterior was penned by Kurt Strand Design, while her interiors stemmed from the drawing boards of Acoya Design House. Displaying a seven stateroom configuration, up to 14 guests can be accommodated onboard, taken care of by a crew of 40.
